Binance Pool Will Close With 0.84% of Bitcoin Hashrate
Binance ends Binance Pool on November 10, taking Cloud Mining and Pool Savings with a pool that now holds 0.84% of Bitcoin hashrate.
Binance will shut Binance Pool, Cloud Mining and Pool Savings at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026. The exchange posted the plan on October 13 and framed it as a product review, not a market event.
The pool that remains is small. Hashrate Index’s one-week table lists Binance Pool at 8.7 EH/s, or 0.84% of a 1006.29 EH/s Bitcoin network, after 9 blocks.
Binance Cuts Pool Access on November 10
The company said it will discontinue Binance Pool and related services as part of an “ongoing review of products and services.” The list is the pool itself, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, the Transaction Accelerator, Telegram hashrate alerts, email notices and mining pool APIs.
As part of our ongoing review of products and services, Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on 2026-11-10 at 07:00 UTC.
This includes Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, Transaction Accelerator, and related features.

At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance Pool starts dropping mining connections and turns off its Stratum URLs and endpoints. Shares sent after that time will not be accepted, processed or credited, and no new rewards, yield or service benefits accrue. Product entry points close the same morning, and homepage links to the pool come down that day.
THE SHUTDOWN CLOCK
- October 13, 2026: Binance publishes the closure notice and posts the same cutoff on its official account.
- October 27, 2026: Brazilian users lose new access to Binance Pool and Cloud Mining under a separate local notice.
- November 10, 2026, 07:00 UTC: Stratum URLs and mining endpoints go dark; new shares stop counting.
- November 10, 2026, 23:59 UTC: Identity checks needed for leftover payouts should be finished.
- November 24, 2026, 07:00 UTC: Pool pages that still show history, records and payout status go offline for good, 14 days after the cutoff.
Eligible shares sent before 07:00 UTC on November 10 still go into the final reward math under pool rules. Leftover rewards, balances, refunds or settlements are processed after that hour, subject to product terms, account status, risk controls, compliance checks and law. The pool is expected to run as usual until those cutoff times.
Binance Pool Now Holds 0.84% of Bitcoin Hashrate
Early chatter treated the exit as if a large slice of Bitcoin’s hash were about to move. The one-week pool table at Hashrate Index does not show that. It puts Binance Pool at 8.7 EH/s and a 0.84% share, with 9 blocks, an FPPS payout, and last tagged block 971168. Network hashrate on that board is 1006.29 EH/s, with hashprice at $39.70 per PH per day and difficulty at 132.72 T.
ONE-WEEK BITCOIN POOL SHARE
| Pool | Hashrate | Share | Blocks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foundry USA | 261.7 EH/s | 25.33% | 270 |
| AntPool | 223.9 EH/s | 21.67% | 231 |
| F2Pool | 175.4 EH/s | 16.98% | 181 |
| ViaBTC | 104.7 EH/s | 10.13% | 108 |
| SpiderPool | 64 EH/s | 6.19% | 66 |
| MARA Pool | 60.1 EH/s | 5.82% | 62 |
| Binance Pool | 8.7 EH/s | 0.84% | 9 |
Foundry USA, AntPool and F2Pool together hold 63.98% of that week’s share. Foundry and AntPool alone hold 47.00%. Binance Pool sits eleventh, behind OCEAN’s 11.6 EH/s and ahead of BTC.com’s 7.8 EH/s. The Binance Pool blocks on the explorer match the same small print: a handful of blocks, not a top-tier operator.
That 0.84% can migrate without moving Bitcoin’s difficulty or security in any way a reader would notice. The machines still have to point somewhere else before 07:00 UTC on November 10, or they mine into a dead endpoint.
What Miners Have to Do Before the Cutoff
The notice is a work list, not a eulogy. Hardware pointed at Binance Pool has 28 days from the October 13 notice to a new stratum URL. Cloud contracts and Pool Savings positions have the same clock, because those products end with the pool rather than living on as separate yield tools.
Hashrate submissions and mining shares submitted after this time will no longer be accepted, processed, or credited.
Binance, Notice on the Closure of Binance Pool Services
BEFORE 07:00 UTC ON NOVEMBER 10
- Move the hash: Disconnect from Binance Pool and point miners at another pool so shares keep counting after the cutoff.
- Unwind savings: Review active Pool Savings positions and unsubscribe or redeem them before the product ends.
- Clear identity checks: Finish any required verification by 23:59 UTC on November 10 so leftover rewards can be paid.
- Save the records: Download reports and transaction history while pool pages still load, because those pages vanish on November 24.
Binance named no replacement pool and published no remaining hashrate of its own. Other operators started offering new stratum homes within hours of the post. The practical risk for a miner who waits is idle hardware on November 10, not a broken Bitcoin network.
Cloud Mining and Pool Savings Shut on the Same Clock
The pool is the headline. The yield wrappers are what retail users actually hold. Cloud Mining sold compute without a warehouse of machines. Pool Savings was a miner-only cash product built on top of pool payouts, and it ends when the pool ends.
Binance’s September 24, 2020 Pool Savings notice called it the first savings product from a major mining pool and advertised annualized rates of up to 30%, with a 5 BTC cap per user, deposits limited to BTC earned on Binance Pool. The closure notice tells customers to redeem or unsubscribe before November 10 and makes clear that no new yield accrues after 07:00 UTC that day.
Payouts after the cutoff still run through compliance. The notice points leftover rewards to Mining Pool Product Terms, account status, risk controls and law. Anyone with an unfinished identity check, a frozen account or a restricted jurisdiction can wait longer than the marketing timeline implies. Saving CSV exports before November 24 is the only way to keep a local copy of that history once the pages go dark.
Brazil Restricts the Same Products on October 27
The global notice does not mention Brazil. A separate October 8 notice to Brazilian users already scheduled a local cut for some of the same tools. From October 27, those accounts lose new access to eight services, including Binance Pool and Cloud Mining, as Binance moves Brazilian real payments onto a local brokerage and lines up with Central Bank rules.
BRAZIL PRODUCT CUTS FROM OCTOBER 27
- Mining stack: Binance Pool and Cloud Mining stop taking new local access 14 days before the global Stratum cutoff.
- Credit stack: Loans and margin are restricted to reduction or close, with no new borrowing listed in that notice.
- Reward stack: Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops and Alpha 2.0 are on the same restricted list.
- Account clock: Eligible payment accounts are due to sit with the local brokerage by October 29, with extra transfer reporting from November 1.
That Brazil track is a local compliance job, not the stated reason for killing the global pool. It still matters for anyone mining or holding Cloud Mining from a Brazilian account, because their first hard stop is October 27, not November 10. The later global shutdown then removes the product for everyone else, including users who never saw the Brazil notice.
Foundry, AntPool and F2Pool Already Mine Most Bitcoin Blocks
The hash that leaves Binance Pool does not disappear. It shows up in whoever’s stratum URL the operators type in next. The one-week board already concentrates most blocks in three names. Foundry USA at 261.7 EH/s, AntPool at 223.9 EH/s and F2Pool at 175.4 EH/s do not need Binance’s 8.7 EH/s to stay large. They are the default homes for hash that wants FPPS-style payouts and liquid BTC.
ViaBTC at 104.7 EH/s and SpiderPool at 64 EH/s are the next public options on that table. MARA Pool at 60.1 EH/s is a public-company pool with a different customer mix. None of those operators published a Binance-specific welcome package in the official notice, because Binance did not name them. The migration is a miner-side config change: new URL, new worker name, watch the first valid shares, then wait for the first payout on the new books.
A 0.84% pool closing also does not loosen the top of the table. After November 10 the same three pools will still be the ones finding most blocks. The change is one less exchange-branded option for people who liked having mining payouts land next to a Binance spot account.
The April 2020 Pool Experiment Runs Out of Road
Binance launched Binance Pool in April 2020 with bitcoin on FPPS and a zero-fee window through June 1, 2020. The pitch was simple: mine, get paid, trade the coins on the same venue. Pool Savings followed on September 24, 2020. Cloud Mining and a Transaction Accelerator grew around that core. The November 10 shutdown takes the whole bundle down together, more than six years after the first product notice.
The October 13 post did not cite hashprice, Brazil, fees or a buyer for the business. It used the same product-review language Binance uses when it delists a pair or retires an earn product. Replies under that post treated it as one more item coming off a thinning menu, while other pool operators used the same hour to advertise non-custodial stratum endpoints. The exchange is not closing. The mining products are.
Miners who have not moved by 07:00 UTC on November 10 stop earning on that hashrate. Pool Savings and Cloud Mining stop adding yield at the same second. The pages that still prove those balances stay up until 07:00 UTC on November 24, and then they do not.
