Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee is finally back in the country after her successful stint at the Miss Universe 2023 pageant in Eilat, Israel. The 26-year-old beauty queen arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Friday morning, November 24, 2023, and was greeted by her family, friends, and fans.
Michelle Dee, who finished in the top 10 of the prestigious competition, expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported her journey. She also thanked the Miss Universe Organization and the host country for the memorable experience.
“I’m so happy to be home. Thank you so much to everyone who welcomed me. Thank you to the Miss Universe Organization and to Israel for hosting such a wonderful event. It was truly an honor to represent the Philippines on the global stage,” she said.
Michelle Dee invites everyone to her airport salubong
As a way of celebrating her achievement and sharing her joy with her fellow Filipinos, Michelle Dee invited everyone to join her airport salubong, which will be held at the GMA Network Center later today. The event, which is organized by GMA Entertainment, will feature performances by some of the Kapuso stars and a special interview with Michelle Dee.
The airport salubong will also be streamed live on the GMA Entertainment website and social media accounts, as well as on the official Miss Universe Philippines Facebook page. Fans can also interact with Michelle Dee and send their messages using the hashtag #MichelleDeeIsHome.
“I’m so excited to see you all at the airport salubong. I hope you can join me and celebrate this moment with me. I want to thank you all for your love and support. You are the reason why I did my best at the Miss Universe pageant. You are my inspiration and motivation. I love you all,” Michelle Dee said.
Michelle Dee plans to pursue her advocacy and projects
Michelle Dee, who is an advocate for mental health awareness and autism inclusion, said that she plans to continue her advocacy and projects after her Miss Universe stint. She also said that she is open to exploring other opportunities in the entertainment industry, such as hosting, acting, and modeling.
“I have a lot of plans and goals that I want to achieve. I want to use my platform and voice to raise awareness and help people who are struggling with mental health issues and autism. I also want to work on some projects that are close to my heart. And of course, I’m always open to new challenges and experiences. I’m looking forward to what the future holds for me,” she said.
Michelle Dee also revealed that she will be joining the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidates in their upcoming activities, such as the coronation night on December 17, 2023. She said that she is excited to meet the new batch of aspirants and share her advice and tips with them.
“I’m very proud of the Miss Universe Philippines 2023 candidates. They are all beautiful, talented, and passionate. I can’t wait to see them shine and show the world what they’ve got. I’m here to support them and guide them along the way. I’m sure they will make us all proud,” she said.
