The Lebanese-British barrister was also the recipient of the DVF Leadership Award, which recognizes women who use their resources, commitment, and visibility to transform the lives of other women. Amal has represented clients such as Julian Assange, Nadia Murad, and Mohamed Fahmy in high-profile cases involving human rights violations.

George Clooney embraces his silver fox persona

George Clooney, the Oscar-winning actor and co-founder of the Clooney Foundation for Justice, complemented his wife’s radiant appearance with his signature classic tuxedo. He sported a white beard and a hairdo peppered with shades of grey, adding to his charm and charisma.

The Ocean’s Eleven star was also the host of the Albie Awards, named after Justice Albie Sachs, a South African jurist who played a key role in ending apartheid. The awards aim to shine a spotlight on brave individuals who have devoted their lives to justice, such as a Ukrainian NGO, a Congolese anti-rape activist, and two Iranian journalists.
