LOEWE and On Launch the Cloudtilt, a New Lifestyle Shoe in Seven Tonal Colorways

The Spanish luxury house and the Swiss running brand have teamed up again to create a new silhouette that combines comfort and style.

LOEWE, the world’s hottest brand for 2023, has collaborated with On, the growing running label, to introduce a new shoe for Fall/Winter 2023: the Cloudtilt. The new design is a lifestyle-oriented shoe that features On’s CloudTec Phase cushioning, which adapts to different terrains and provides a smooth ride. The shoe also showcases LOEWE’s vibrant color palette, with seven tonal colorways that range from “All White” to “Lime Green” to “Purple Rose”. The shoe has a sleek and minimalist aesthetic, with LOEWE’s logo appearing on the right side of each shoe, as well as on the tongue tag, sockliner and right shoe’s heel tab. The shoe is made of premium materials, such as leather, suede and mesh, and has a reflective heel counter for visibility.

The Collaboration: A Continuation of LOEWE and On’s Partnership

The Cloudtilt is not the first project that LOEWE and On have worked on together. Last year, the duo launched performance apparel and collaborative iterations of the On Cloudventure and Cloudrock, two trail running shoes that were reimagined with LOEWE’s signature craftsmanship and flair. The collaboration was inspired by Jonathan Anderson, LOEWE’s creative director, who is an avid runner and a fan of On’s shoes. Anderson said that he wanted to create “a collection that is both functional and fashionable, that can be worn for sports but also for everyday life”. The collaboration also reflects both brands’ commitment to innovation and sustainability, as they use recycled materials and eco-friendly processes to produce their products.

The Release: How to Get Your Hands on the Cloudtilt

The LOEWE x On Cloudtilt will be available on October 12 via LOEWE and On’s websites. Each pair will cost $490 USD, with the “Purple Rose” and “All Navy” colorways being exclusive for women and the “Forever Blue” and “Khaki” colorways being exclusive for men. The shoe will also be sold at select retailers around the world, such as Dover Street Market, SSENSE and MatchesFashion.
