Living for the Dead: A Queer Ghost Hunting Adventure
Living for the Dead is a new docuseries that follows a group of “five fabulous, queer ghost hunters [who] roam the country, helping the living by healing the dead”, according to the network. Kristen Stewart serves as an executive producer and narrator for the show, and also makes appearances on screen.
The show is based on an idea that Stewart and her best friend CJ Romero had as a “hypothetical silly pipe dream”. Stewart said in a statement that she was proud to have “shepherded something that is as moving and meaningful as it is truly a gay old time”.
The cast of Living for the Dead includes Alex LeMay, Juju Bae, Ken Boggle, Logan Taylor and Roz Hernandez. They explore haunted locations and communicate with spirits using various methods and devices. The show also features Demi Lovato, who attended the premiere and posed with Stewart and Meyer.

Kristen Stewart and Dylan Meyer first met in 2013 on a movie set, but they reconnected in 2019 at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Stewart said on The Howard Stern Show that she felt an instant connection with Meyer, who is a screenwriter.
“The first time I told her I love her it was really late and we were in some s—-y bar, and her friends were there or whatever and they walked out, and I was just like, ‘Oh, man, I’m so f—-ing in love with you.’ Like, done,” Stewart recalled. “It wasn’t like ‘a thing,’ and it also was so obvious.”
