Pink iPhone 15: a possible option for the standard models
One of the colors that has been mentioned by multiple sources is pink. This would be a light and soft shade of pink, similar to the rose gold or blush gold that Apple has used in the past for some of its devices.
According to a report by 9to5Mac, Apple was testing a pink iPhone 15 and a pink iPhone 15 Plus earlier this year, but the source cautioned that this was early information and that Apple’s plans could change. However, another source, who claims to be a Foxconn employee, also confirmed that pink was one of the colors that they saw for the standard iPhone 15 models.
If true, this would be the first time that Apple offers a pink option for its flagship iPhones since the iPhone 13, which had a rose gold variant. However, it is unclear if Apple will also offer a pink option for the iPhone 15 mini, which is rumored to be discontinued after this year.
Dark red iPhone 15 Pro: a new shade for the premium models
Another color that has been rumored for the iPhone 15 series is dark red. This would be a deeper and richer shade of red than the product (RED) option that Apple has offered for some of its previous iPhones.
According to a report by Tom’s Guide, Apple is planning to introduce a dark red color option for the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This information was also backed up by another source, who shared an image of what appears to be a dark red iPhone 15 Pro case.
If true, this would be a new color option for the premium iPhone models, which usually have more conservative and muted colors, such as silver, graphite, gold, and pacific blue. A dark red iPhone 15 Pro could appeal to customers who want a more distinctive and elegant look for their devices.
Other colors: what else can we expect?
Besides pink and dark red, there are some other colors that have been mentioned by various sources for the iPhone 15 series. These include:
- Green: This could be a similar shade of green to the one that Apple offers for the current iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models.
- Blue: This could be a different shade of blue than the one that Apple offers for the current iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
