Here are some of the biggest trends to come from Milan’s Spring 2024 Fashion Week.
One of the most eye-catching trends of the week was fringe, which added movement and drama to many outfits. Fringe came in different forms, such as metallic, leather, knit, or tinsel, and adorned dresses, jackets, skirts, and tops. Prada, Bottega Veneta, Tom Ford, and Roberto Cavalli were among the brands that embraced this trend, creating looks that shimmered and swayed on the runway.
Ladylike Chic
Another trend that stood out was the feminine and elegant style that many designers adopted. Inspired by the classic Italian women, these looks featured knee-length skirts, short gloves, sweater sets, and tailored blazers. Fendi, Tod’s, Ferragamo, and Versace were some of the labels that showed their refined and sophisticated side, making us want to dress up for any occasion.
Sheer Delight
Transparency is not a new trend, but this season, it was done in a more delicate and ethereal way.
