Israeli defense and intelligence officials have been stunned by the speed of Iran’s ballistic missile recovery four months after the main fighting of the 2026 war ended in April, according to a Jerusalem Post report drawing on IDF and Mossad assessments. Production is restarting across multiple lines far sooner than the post-strike estimates of multi-year setbacks had allowed.
The turnaround covers more than residual stockpiles. It reaches the industrial base that three successive campaigns were meant to cripple for years.
The Third Rebound in Two Years
This is not the first time the pattern has appeared.
