Samsung, the world’s leading smartphone maker, has announced the launch of two new affordable smartphones, the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s, in India. The phones are expected to hit the market in the upcoming festive season, offering consumers a great deal of value and performance.
Galaxy A05: A big battery phone with a sleek design
The Galaxy A05 is a 6.5-inch phone with a PLS TFT LCD display and a waterdrop notch for the front camera. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which is an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 2 GHz. The phone comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB via a microSD card.
The Galaxy A05 boasts a massive 5000 mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging, ensuring that users can enjoy long hours of usage without worrying about running out of juice. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.

The Galaxy A05s is powered by the same MediaTek Helio G85 processor as the Galaxy A05, but it has an additional 2 MP macro camera on the back, making it a triple-camera phone. The main camera is a 50 MP sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, while the depth sensor is the same as the Galaxy A05. The rear cameras can also record full HD videos at 30 fps.
The Galaxy A05s has the same battery capacity and charging speed as the Galaxy A05, as well as the same RAM and storage options. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.
