OnePlus Pad Go: A budget-friendly tablet launching soon

OnePlus, the popular smartphone brand, is expanding its product portfolio with a new tablet called the OnePlus Pad Go. The device is expected to be an affordable alternative to the OnePlus Pad, which was launched earlier this year. The OnePlus Pad Go will be unveiled in early October, according to a teaser on Flipkart.

OnePlus Pad Go design and features revealed on Flipkart

The OnePlus Pad Go’s design and some of its features have been revealed on a microsite on Flipkart, the online retailer that will sell the device in India. The Flipkart page also confirms that the OnePlus Pad Go will have a 2K resolution display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, which is ideal for reading and browsing. The tablet will run on Android 13-based OxygenOS 13, which will offer a smooth and seamless user experience. The device will also support cross-device interaction with OnePlus smartphones, such as content sync, shared hotspot, screen mirroring, notification syncing, and call management.

OnePlus Pad Go expected specifications and price

The OnePlus Pad Go’s specifications have not been officially announced yet, but some rumors suggest that it will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, possibly the Dimensity 9000. The tablet may also have 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity and charging speed are also unknown at the moment.

The OnePlus Pad Go’s price is also a mystery, but it is likely to be much lower than the OnePlus Pad, which costs Rs 36,999 in India. The device may compete with other budget-friendly tablets in the market, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and the Lenovo Tab M10 HD Gen 2.

OnePlus Pad Go launch date and availability

The OnePlus Pad Go’s launch date has not been confirmed yet, but the Flipkart page suggests that it will happen in the first week of October. The company will reveal more details about the tablet until Oct. 4. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart in India, but it may also launch in other markets under a different name. For instance, the OnePlus Pad was released as the Oppo Pad 2 in China.

The OnePlus Pad Go is an exciting addition to the OnePlus ecosystem, which already includes smartphones, smart TVs, earbuds, and smartwatches. The tablet will cater to the needs of users who want a large-screen device for entertainment, productivity, and education at an affordable price.
