Insta360, a leading brand in 360-degree cameras, has launched its latest action cameras, the Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro, with a focus on unrivaled image quality and smart features. The flagship Ace Pro, co-engineered with Leica, boasts a huge 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 5nm AI chip, and a Leica SUMMARIT lens, delivering stunning visuals in any lighting condition.
The Insta360 Ace Pro is the first action camera to feature a Type 1/1.3-inch image sensor, which is larger than most smartphones and compact cameras. This allows the Ace Pro to capture more light and detail, especially in low-light scenarios. The Ace Pro can record video at up to 8K at 24 frames per second (fps), 4K at 120 fps, and capture 48-megapixel photos.
The Ace Pro also incorporates a powerful 5nm AI chip, which enhances the sensor’s capabilities and reduces noise. The AI chip enables features such as PureVideo, which applies advanced AI noise reduction and improved dynamic range to low-light videos, and Active HDR, which combines multiple exposures to create vibrant and balanced images.
The Ace Pro also benefits from the expertise of Leica, a legendary brand in optical design and imaging. The Ace Pro features a Leica SUMMARIT lens, which offers a 16mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.6 aperture. The lens delivers sharp and clear images with minimal distortion and chromatic aberration.
A Vlogging-Friendly Flip Touchscreen and Smart Features
The Insta360 Ace Pro and Ace both come with a 2.4-inch flip touchscreen, which makes it easy to preview and control the camera from any angle. The touchscreen also supports gesture control, allowing users to start and stop recording with a simple wave of the hand.
The Ace Pro and Ace also offer a range of smart features that make shooting and sharing easier and more fun. For example, the cameras support Pause Recording, which lets users pause and resume recording without creating multiple clips. The cameras also have a Clarity Zoom feature, which uses AI to enhance the quality of digital zoom. Additionally, the cameras have a built-in AI that automatically generates highlights from the footage and pushes a ready-to-share video to the user via the Insta360 app.
Engineered for Adventure and Compatibility
The Insta360 Ace Pro and Ace are designed to handle any adventure, with a rugged and waterproof body that can withstand temperatures as low as -20°C (-4°F) and depths of up to 10 meters (33 feet). The cameras also feature FlowState Stabilization, which uses a 6-axis gyroscope and AI to keep the footage smooth and steady, even in the most intense situations.
The Ace Pro and Ace are also compatible with a wide range of accessories and mounts, thanks to the magnetic mounting system. Users can easily attach and detach the cameras from different accessories, such as the selfie stick, the chest mount, the bike mount, and more. The cameras also support voice control, Bluetooth remote control, and external microphones.
The Insta360 Ace Pro and Ace are available for pre-order now, with the Ace Pro priced at $449 and the Ace at $379. The cameras are expected to ship in December 2023.
