Benefits of a Samsung Account: Samsung devices, such as cellphones, tablets, watches, laptops, televisions, and home appliances, allow the user to create a Samsung account during setup. With Samsung account, users can benefit from more features offered by certain services with their equipment.
These benefits include being able to handle your Samsung account and using your Samsung product.
Benefits of a Samsung Account
“One account. Everything Samsung.” This is the official tagline for Samsung’s account and services.
Ecosystem
The most discussed in this regard is the Apple ecosystem. While impressive, the Apple ecosystem is restricted to the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Airpods, and Apple TV.
If you compare (that) to the behemoth of services offered by Samsung, you will be quite underwhelmed. The Samsung ecosystem not only has Galaxy phones, tablets, watches, earbuds, laptops, and TVs, but they have a variety of smart devices such as refrigerators, air conditioners, ovens, speakers, and washing machines as well!
The connectivity provided makes your entire home a Smart hub where you can use smart devices to automate tasks at the push of a button.
Talking about computing devices (phones, tablets, laptops), you receive seamless connectivity through features such as Quick Share for instant data transfer, Samsung Dex, Samsung Cloud for backups and sync, Samsung Notes, and so on.
Your Galaxy Buds can be connected to all your Samsung devices and work in conjunction with each other.
Say, if you’re watching videos on a computer while wearing the Buds and you receive a call on another phone that is in a different room, you can use your Galaxy Watch or the computer to answer the call. Your Buds will automatically detect the call and connect you two together without disconnecting from your computer or messing with the audio settings of the video.
For the Internet of Things (IoT) products, you can automate tasks, change settings and activate tasks on your devices with a push of a button on your phone.
All you need to do is set up a Samsung account and download the SmartThings app from the Galaxy app store. It comes preloaded on select Samsung phones. Once installed, you can operate all your compatible devices without ever touching their remote controls or interfaces. All you need is your device to be connected to the internet! You can perform automated tasks using your Samsung Galaxy Watch after you’ve set it up.
Not only have the new Galaxy devices come with a UWB chip included, but the device case opens automatically when you uncover the phone inside it. The Buds will provide a connection to your phone as soon as you open the accessory case.
Samsung Services
If you connect your Bixby device to a Samsung account, you will be given access to numerous optional features and services. These usually connect to and work well with other devices in the ecosystem but are standalone options as well.
The most interesting service of Samsung is Samsung Pay. It combines magnetic secure transmission (MST) and near-field communications (NFC) for payments. Therefore, even on those older point-of-sale terminals that do not support NFC Tap-to-Pay, you can still use your Samsung phone to make transactions by tapping.
All you need to do is add your card and confirm your information with OTP, and you can start paying.
Samsung Pay is completely protected by the Knox framework, which guarantees the security of devices and prevents fraudulent transactions from being made. The payment information is encrypted by the Knox system.
Another feature of Knox security is the Samsung Pass. It acts like a password manager but is exclusive to Samsung devices.
The app stores all of your credit card information, passwords, and addresses and makes them available on a Knox-protected device. Only the owner can access the data.
Bixby
Bixby is Samsung’s voice assistant.
Although it is not as advanced as Google Assistant on web-based functions, it works very well in Samsung’s ecosystem, allowing you to access all of your devices with your voice by simply saying “Hey, Bixby.”
Samsung TV Plus
Samsung TV Plus is an exclusive feature for Samsung smart TVs and Galaxy smartphones.
You can enjoy up to 135 channels on the Samsung Free application without incurring any costs or entering your credit card information.
Samsung Health
Another thoughtful service offered by Samsung, Samsung Health, is available on mobile phones and smartwatches from Samsung.
The app is a one-stop shop for all health-related analytics and monitoring. You can make goals, sign up for group challenges, and more!
The app will also strongly encourage you to become healthier by suggesting exercise and diet suggestions according to your metrics and performance.
SmartThings
SmartThings is an application that allows you to manage your Internet of Things (IoT) electronics from your smartphone or tablet. You can use it to control your devices, add tasks to automated schedules, check your equipment and even get the location of your Galaxy smartphone.
Samsung Cloud
Samsung Cloud is the official backup service for your mobile device and tablet. It automatically synchronizes your contacts and other information across all your devices. You can back up your operating system and restore it to the same or newer device.
Partnerships
You can join Samsung’s Partner Program and get exclusive benefits from participating companies including Netflix, Spotify, and Amazon.
You get 3 months of free Netflix access when you buy a Samsung device and set it up with a Samsung account. Spotify gives you 6 months of access with your Samsung device.
Samsung now offers 100 gigabytes of free cloud storage with OneDrive for six months on Samsung devices. It also backs up the Camera Roll on your Samsung device to the cloud.

What if The User Chose Not to Create a Samsung Account?
The Samsung ecosystem is designed to offer users a well-rounded user experience if they chose not to use their premium account service. If it lags the user experience, that would be considered sabotage.
- The Samsung drive system can store all data in a cloud-based system.
- Find my phone won’t work
- Samsung’s pass store where information about user fingerprints and other sensitive data are stored.
In other words, the user would have a limited experience if she chose not to get a Samsung phone with a Samsung account.
