Huawei has launched its latest smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT 4, with two different sizes and styles to choose from. The new watch comes with improved health tracking features, such as sleep breathing awareness, menstrual cycle management, and pulse wave arrhythmia analysis. It also boasts a long battery life, a high-resolution AMOLED display, and a wide range of watch faces and customizations.
Two Sizes, Two Styles
The Huawei Watch GT 4 comes in two sizes: 41mm and 46mm. The 41mm has distinctly designed strap lugs (18mm) with a dial that the company calls “Pendant Design.” It comes in three finishes: White Leather, Milanese, and Two-Tone Piano Key. The 46mm has an octagonal bezel (22mm) with a dial that the company calls “Octogonal Design.” It comes in four finishes: Black, Brown, Grey, and Green.
Both sizes have a slim and lightweight body, with a 13% higher screen-to-body ratio than the previous generation. They also have a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels resolution and 326 ppi pixel density. The display supports an Always On Display mode that can show up to 20% more visible elements than before.
Improved Health Tracking Features
The Huawei Watch GT 4 is equipped with the new TruSeen 5.5+ technology, which is a suite of sensors and algorithms that provide more accurate and detailed health tracking. Some of the new features include:
- Sleep Breathing Awareness: This feature monitors your heart rate and SpO2 while you sleep and alerts you to any breathing issues. It also provides suggestions on how to improve your sleep quality and habits.
- Menstrual Cycle Management 3.0: This feature tracks your menstrual cycle and predicts your period and ovulation dates with 15% more accuracy than mainstream smartwatches. It also records your symptoms and provides health tips.
- Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis: This feature detects potential risks of atrial fibrillation and premature beats by using the PPG sensor. It also provides timely reminders and suggestions on how to maintain a healthy heart rate.
The watch also supports other health features, such as stress management, SpO2 monitoring, skin temperature measurement, fall detection, and SOS emergency call.
Long Battery Life and Smart Features
