Auctoria: A new platform that uses AI to create 3D video game models

A Polish startup has developed a platform that uses generative AI to create 3D video game models from scratch. Auctoria, which is one of the participants in the at , aims to help game developers save time and unleash their creativity.

Auctoria uses generative AI algorithms that were developed in-house and trained on their own content. The platform can create a range of different model types for video games, such as:

  • Entire 3D game levels, complete with pathways for players to explore
  • 3D equivalents of uploaded images and textures of walls, floors and columns
  • Assets from text prompts, similar to or
  • Digital models from sketches

Users can access Auctoria through a web browser and customize their models using various parameters and filters. They can also export their models to popular game engines such as Unity and Unreal.

Why Auctoria is different

According to the co-founder and CEO of Auctoria, Joanna Zając, the platform is different from other AI tools for generating game assets in several ways:

  • It is based 100% on their own content, so they are not dependent on any other provider
  • It is an independent tool that does not rely on any external engine or use open source solutions
  • It is focused on professionals, not hobbyists or amateurs, and offers more advanced and comprehensive features
  • It is designed to support game development workflows and integrate with existing tools and pipelines

Zając also claims that Auctoria is more robust and reliable than some of the competitors, as it has been in the R&D stage for about two years.

What Auctoria hopes to achieve

The team behind Auctoria believes that their platform can revolutionize the game industry by enabling more creativity and innovation. They also hope to democratize game development by making it more accessible and affordable for everyone.

Zając says that their vision is to create a platform that supports game development professionals in their work, but also allows anyone who wants to create to use it. She adds that they are constantly improving their platform and adding new features based on user feedback.

Auctoria is currently in beta testing and is expected to launch publicly later this year. The platform will offer different subscription plans for different levels of usage and features.
