Egypt’s Tourism Revenues Reach $6.6 Billion in H1 2024

Egypt’s tourism industry continues to thrive, with impressive revenues in the first half of 2024. According to a statement from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the country recorded tourism revenues estimated at $6.6 billion during this period, slightly surpassing the $6.3 billion from the same timeframe last year.

Despite global challenges, Egypt maintained a steady flow of tourists. In H1 2024, the country welcomed 7.069 million visitors, a number comparable to the 7.062 million tourists in 2023. These travelers spent a total of 70.2 million nights in Egypt during the same period, reflecting an increase from the 65.7 million nights in H1 2023.
