Cirium’s latest report reveals that Aeromexico outperformed all other airlines worldwide in punctuality last month. Over 91% of its flights arrived on time, marking a significant improvement and setting a new standard in the aviation industry.
Aeromexico’s Impressive Comeback
After a less-than-stellar performance in August, Aeromexico bounced back dramatically.
In September, the airline operated 15,344 flights, with a remarkable 91.13% arriving as scheduled.
This is a notable jump from August’s 86.54% on-time arrivals.
Their commitment to timeliness has clearly paid off, earning them the top spot globally.
Saudia and Avianca: Close on Aeromexico’s Heels
Other airlines weren’t far behind.
- Saudia secured second place with 89.4% on-time arrivals out of 15,518 flights.
- Avianca came in third, with 88.74% of its 20,330 flights arriving punctually.
These airlines have demonstrated consistent reliability, but Aeromexico managed to outpace them in September.
